Emma scowled the room. Why did she agree to this? "OK class. Who can tell me what... Osmosis is?" she said, looking down at the piece of paper Jean had scribbled on. She didn't have to take Jean's biology class. Why did these children need to learn anyway? Shouldn't they just be training with their powers to become X-Men? Emma used her telepathy to pry into their minds. Someone definitely would know the answer but didn't want to put their hand up...

Julian relaxed in his chair and formed a small smile across his face at the beginning of his biology class. Because today he wouldn't have to deal with Jean Gray, but instead Miss Frost. The teen's brown eyes roamed across the room, though never turning his head in any direction. Even though having had Emma as his squad's adviser, he knew she would say something to him about not paying attention. Running his hand through his dark hair as his class' substitute asked a question about osmosis. If this were any other substitute, Julian probably wouldn't have even attempt a crack at the question, but he figured why not impress the telepath and be the student to give the right answer.
Too bad paying attention in class wasn't his kind of thing. But, he knew the answer was some where in his brain he'd just have to think...
Taking a few seconds, glad that no one else had rose their hand yet, Julian had remembered the basic concept of the term she was asking about. I guess even if you aren't paying attention in class, you still hear a few things here and there. Remaining in his slouched sitting position Julian didn't even wait to raise his hand, he just said the answer out loud. "Osmosis is the diffusion of a solvent through a semi-permeable membrane from a dilute to a concentrated solution." After giving his answer, hoping it was the right one, Jules could only think one thing; take that you losers thinking I was all money and no brains. Hellion started to smirk right after the thought had passed through his head and he kept his eyes glued on Emma waiting for her to say that he was right, at least he hoped that what she would say.

Emma was stunned when Julian spoke the answer after sometime of silence. Emma looked back at the sheet of paper. His answer was correct. "Very good Julian!" she said, half-heartedly. She then peeked into his mind, only to catch 'take that you losers thinking I was all money and no brains'. She decided to leave him a 'personal' message. ~But Julian, being all money is not such a bad thing~ she said in a telepathic message, then winking at him.
"Now who can tell me... What the function of the endoplasmic reticulum is?" she said, once again, looking at the piece of paper. How much longer must this go on for?

Julian sat up a bit as soon as she had told him he was correct. His smirk stayed on his face out of pure success and hope that he had some what impressed the blonde substitute. Though he knew he'd impress her even more if he was able to get control over his power completely. Damn those mental blocks, forcing him to have more powerful abilities. Even if they were going to be better once he gained control, he still felt kind of afraid to use them as much as used to. Don't want to destroy some more of the school doing something simple again. Soon, the soft voice of Miss Frost had entered his head. And it wasn't her normal voice, it was that slightly weird one that only happened when she used her powers. Seemed like no one ever got used to it, it was just so weird to hear someone else's voice in your head.
~But Julian, being all money is not such a bad thing~
His smirk only grew at the sound of the mental message she sent. His eyes never left Emma as her message ended. He hoped that the connection she had with him to communicate was still there. He began to talk inside his head to her, kind of strange but not completely weird. No its not, after all it does mean I can take women like you on a shopping spree, Hellion said inside his mind, and don't think I didn't see that wink. After his last statement that he spoke to himself, he gave Emma a little wink of his own. Through out his whole message thing for Miss Frost, he had managed to not even hear her last question for the class.

A quick hand from one of the student's shot up in the air. "It transports nutrients and wastes". "Correct" Emma replied. She now sat down at the desk. "I think you can all take out your textbooks and study the next chapter. That is probably what Dr. Grey would've made you do anyway, I suppose" she said.
"No its not, after all it does mean I can take women like you on a shopping spree, and don't think I didn't see that wink". ~Mr Keller! You are simply assuming you have more money than I do, which I find highly impossible. Who do you think pays for all this?~ she said, smiling a little as she glanced around the room, her eyes meeting his on a few occaisions. She caught a glimpse of some of his subconcious thoughts, the ones that most telepaths could not detect.
~Julian, julian, julian. Being able to control your powers would not impress me in the way you may be thinking~ she said, once again, a small smirk appearing across her face.

Julian's eyes switched from staring at Emma to the other student giving out the answers to the question that he still didn't know about. As soon as the kid had closed his mouth, Julian went right back to putting his gaze on Miss Frost. His once big smirk now gone as he reached for his biology book that was contained in his blue backpack next to him. His hands flipping the pages and ultimately ending on this week's chapter. He allowed a small sigh to escape his lips as his eyes looked down at the pages. Hellion never read from the book, he always preferred to get someone else tell him the basics of the chapter after class. It was much easier than reading it yourself, that and it wasn't as boring.
~Mr Keller! You are simply assuming you have more money than I do, which I find highly impossible. Who do you think pays for all this?~
The blonde telepath's words had entered his head. He was glad his message had gotten through to her. There was a small part of them that thought his earlier words would've been only known to himself, which would ultimately return the class to it's usual blandness. Maybe I do, maybe I don't, Julian spoke silently in his head, but whatever the case, no woman would want to use their own money over someone else's. And I meant absolutely nothing by taking you on a shopping spree, except maybe that you'd like to take some time off of your busy schedule and do something some what fun. The teen's earlier smirk had now returned after he used his mind to give Emma yet another little message. Though his words weren't exactly the same as they would be if it were any other Xavier faculty. But, this wasn't just any other faculty member, this was Miss Emma Frost, adviser of the Hellions.
~Julian, julian, julian. Being able to control your powers would not impress me in the way you may be thinking~
Now now, Julian thought inside of his head, I just want to make sure I'm your number one student. But now that I know you're just going to listen to any of the thoughts I have, I must warn you before you keep digging around you might find something of a more... Adult nature in here. This time Jules was sure she was going to get his message, there was no telling how Emma would take his more recent comments. She'd either take them as a sort of playful, or take it more seriously. Either way, he knew this class wasn't going to be boring.

'Now now, I just want to make sure I'm your number one student. But now that I know you're just going to listen to any of the thoughts I have, I must warn you before you keep digging around you might find something of a more... Adult nature in here'.
~Of course you are my number one student. You have all this power. The others do as well, but yours is quite... Enormous~ she sent to him. ~And you aren't the only one with adult thoughts, Julian~ she said, another small smile appearing on her face. She then started looking around on Jean's desk. A photo of Scott. He looked as handsome as always. Neat piles of homework that she had collected from the students. Then Emma had a fun idea. Instead of sitting in the classroom for another 30 minutes, she would take them outside, use their powers a little.
"Now class" she vocalised, some of the students flinching from the contrast of silence to loud, "how often do you get to use your powers in a... Creative, environment?" she asked.

Julian placed his elbows on both sides of his open biology text book, his hands meeting in the middle forming some a sort of cushion for his head as he rested his chin on his conjoined hands. He silently stared the blonde substitute waiting for some sort of telepathic response to his earlier thoughts/messages to her. During his wait, Jules pulled one of his fingers away from the formation he had with both of his hands to rub his left light brown eye. But only for a few seconds, he quickly put it back to complete his head cushion so he could rest his head once more. As soon as her words had began to enter his head, Julian glanced down at the words in the open book and then back up at Miss Frost.
~Of course you are my number one student. You have all this power. The others do as well, but yours is quite... Enormous. And you aren't the only one with adult thoughts, Julian~
All this power? Julian repeated in his head and then went on to continue, if you haven't noticed, I can't do much with all this power. I can't even fly as much as I used to, just out of fear that I'll destroy another one of the school's walls. Hellion's usual smirk now turned into more of an aggravated expression, though not towards Emma but just because of his more recent power struggle and the memories of how much control he used to have. It almost made him feel as if he wasn't leadership material at times, but he managed to get rid of the feeling in a couple of seconds....
At least for now.
The dark haired mutant looked at his substitute with a questionable look on his face. Miss Frost has adult thoughts? Julian asked inside his mind, I hope none of them are about me. Since, relationships with students aren't that welcomed here at Xavier's. But then again, it is always a good thing to act on some of your desires. And there he went again, being the how so arrogant teen, but that was just Julian's attitude. And he was sure that Miss Frost had came to realize that by now, so there were no worries.

Emma simply shook her head at Julian. Hopefully he knew why. "I think i'll take you all outside for some... fun!" Emma said, enthusiastically, or at least as enthusiastically as she could muster. ~Now let's go!~. She was sure her telepathic message echoed throughout all their heads. She wasn't even sure if some of them knew she was a telepath.
All of the students rushed outside. She walked out the door, only to realise that Julian was still in the room. She poked her head back in. ~Are you coming with us, or are you having some adult thoughts?~ Emma telepathically asked, sarcastically. "It'll be fun"...

Julian saw Emma shake her head at him. He gave out a small sigh and changed his view of the blonde telepath to the open book in front of him. The sound of her enthusiastic yelling about going outside didn't even manage to get Julian to get up out of his seat. But the yelling in his head sure did the trick, granted it wasnt on his terms, he kind of jumped out of his seat. Wierd voices in your head mixed with yelling just makes you do stuff like that. He focused his brown eyes on watching the other students leaving the room, but Julian slowed down the pace and stayed a little longer in the classroom. And that was definitely the first time he'd ever stayed in a classroom longer than he needed to.
~Are you coming with us, or are you having some adult thoughts?~
Julian gave out a light chuckle at Emma's telepathic message. He ran a hand through his dark hair and walked over to the door and near Miss Frost. "You know," the teenager started, "I just can't seem to get you off my mind." He then slowly walked away from her, giving her a small smirk. But before leaving hearing distance from her he spoke once more. "Oh, and don't think I'll start using my powers just because you're letting us outside, Miss Frost." His words were true, he had no intention on using his powers outside, no need to make something unexpected happen. Though, he might just lift a few things for the fun of it, since he'd seem to master that ability by now.

Emma walked behind him. "Julian, as your team advisor, you will do as I say. You need to loosen up a bit. Don't worry about it. Anything that happens is on me, and the students won't get injured. I can assure you that" she said, overtaking him. After all, she was supposed to supervise them all. The came to the front foor of the mansion to find it had been left wide open. "Do these children live in tents or something? Leaving the front door open!" she complained, walking through it.
She found the rest of them mucking around with each other, using their powers. They all had grins on their faces. Julian should too.

Julian turned his head around to look back at Miss Frost as she spoke to him. "Fine," Julian spoke, "I'll go do something simple with my powers, but only because you're my adiviser. Say if you were someone else, I wouldn't even be listening to you." Even if he didn't feel like using his powers at the moment, he was glad that Emma had to re-assure him that everything would be okay. But, seeing as how this wasn't one of his power classes there wasn't that much need to actually try and get better with his abilities right now.
Walking towards a tree, Julian lifted his hand a bit to pick up a small twig on the ground next to it. His eyes beginning to turn a light green tint as he did so. He knew he could've done more, but just wasn't in the mood to do so at the moment.

Emma looked at Julian. The boy had so much potential, and she was going to bring it out of him. She sent a telepathic message to the rest of the students, but not to Julian. ~Class, watch this for some very extraordinary power usage~.
She walked over to him, and stopped a few yeards away from him. "Use your powers to evade me, Julian" she said, holding up her hand. It started to crystallise. After not long, her whole body had become diamond. "For extra credit" she said, smiling. "Don't be afraid to get rough" she said, lunging at him. She was attacking him for the right reasons. She knew the power was in there somewhere, she just needed to harness it by fake endangering him.

Jules simply stood in one spot, his arm out in front of him moving around in small designs, almost as if he was casting some sort of his spell. Though with each movement of his hand, the floating twig before him would begin to move in the exact same pattern. As he did this, one person came to mind you would possibly enjoy watching this. But before his thoughts could go any further, he had heard Emma's voice. Only this time it wasn't in his head.
Gah... Why was this happening?
He dropped his head and at that exact moment the twig floating in the air did as well. The dark haired boy turned around and looked at the female ahead of him, whose whole body was now made of diamond. "Err," Julian said taking a small pause, "What are you doing, Miss Frost?" He gave out another chuckle as she told him not to be afraid to get rough. There were so many jokes he could have said about, but his brain was in a little state of confusion at the current events that were unfolding. Not exactly sure what she had exactly wanted, Julian did his best to roll out of her line of fire. He still had a quizzical look on his face.

Julian successfully dodged her oncoming attack. "Clever, but you'll have to do better!" she said, jumping up and ripping a branch off the nearby tree. She hurled it at him. He would have to use his powers to dodge this one. She continued to grab branches off the tree and hurl them at him. She was able to throw three in succession.
She ran after the branches, her hand outstretched. 'Come on Julian. You can do it' she thought to herself. 'Use your powers!'.
